If this success is any frame of reference for the other skin, then it should go well! I want to create a complimentary nondefault skin that expands the skintones into a darker range at some point. Sorry for the grainy quality, it was the only way to get the GIFs to fit in the post. I’ve been frustrated with how little detail actually comes through for darker skin with the default skintones/tone ramps, and I’ve been gradually trying to find ways to fix this issue, but today I decided to say “screw it” and use a dark and light skintone as bases and then match the features for both so they blend smoothly, and then replace the tone ramps with solid colors.
